unititled
I was visited by a stranger sometime in the middle of the night, she came complete with a friend who did basically nothing. For some reason, even in that warm embrace anxiety did reign, which seemed unprecedented. We talked, and I could only mutter childish musings; a product of a blank mind furiously digging for gold. Awkward dancing, shuffled feet, broken glances, half-cocked smiles, et al. Summary: exhilaration at the finest. There was in intermission, as usual, but surprisingly the universe continued nicely for a time. And then... daylight. It brought tendrils of cold with it, solidifying the present. All was gone but the longing for return. We'll meet another time, I think.
