All jabs aside, it's a typical writer technique to use color-coded cards when building narratives. Screenwriters in particular rely heavily on this method. It makes sense to do, especially for complex stories. A great ability that it confers is that when you stand back and look at your work, you're able to see how the plot flows from a more conceptual point of view. There's more, of course, but I wouldn't want to deprive you of your exploration of the technique.
